ABOUT THE CONTENT CHANNEL PROGRAM: Q&A
WHAT DOES IT MEAN THAT CHANNELS ARE “CO-HOSTED” BY BOTH GRAMERCY INSTITUTE AND A SPONSOR-HOST?
Gramercy Institute commits to producing original content for each channel. In addition, “host” sponsors will be asked to contribute in relevant ways to this content and will also be invited to submit its own relevant content to the channel. Also, Gramercy Institute will work with each host to create and post its own “welcome video” and link it to its own company information and programs.
WHAT CONTENT WILL APPEAR ON EACH CHANNEL?
Gramercy Institute will work with each host (sponsor) to develop compelling and engaging “channel-specific” content each month. Gramercy Institute will create and capture some content expressly for use on this specific channel. In addition, Gramercy Institute will feature original Gramercy Institute content on each channel page that may not have been exclusively crafted for each specific channel, but are fresh and relevant to the topic at hand.
DOES CONTENT GET REMOVED EACH MONTH, OR IS THE NEW CONTENT ADDED TO EXISTING CONTENT ITEMS:
Each content page will feature current month’s content offerings, and in addition, all content throughout the year will be visible and available “below the fold” on each content channel page. In short each content channel offering gets more robust and richer with each passing month.
CONTENT EXAMPLES FOR EACH CHANNEL:
Gramercy Institute will work individually with each host partner to craft a 30-second welcome video (featuring the host partner) that explains welcomes viewers and readers and explains what readers and viewers of this specific channel should expect to find, day-after- day, month-after-month on this specific Gramercy Institute channel. In addition, the host partner will also be asked to write a greeting to welcome visitors to each content rich page.
One primary source of original content item will be produced by Gramercy Institute each month (i.e. Panel Discussion, Interview, Master Class, Editorial, Research report, etc.) for use on this specific channel. These content examples are produced by Gramercy Institute for the primary consumption of the audience of this specific channel. In many cases, this content will involve host company. If the host wishes, we will work the each “host partner,” specifically into each primary content piece.
Two secondary content pieces (i.e. Panel Discussion, Interview, Master Class, Editorial, Research report, etc.) will be produced and posted to this specific channel each month bu Gramercy Institute. These content examples are original Gramercy Institute content, relevant to the theme of this specific channel, though they may also be found in other areas of the Gramercy Institute site.
ADDITIONAL THEME-APPROPRIATE CONTENT
Host sponsors are invited to post additional relevant content on their own or from other sources each month. This may be links to other articles, this may be research or videos that each partner host would like to extend out to the industry under this channel.
PROMOTIONAL CONTENT FROM HOST/SPONSOR
Gramercy Institute encourages all channel hosts to provide relevant materials and links to promote their own offerings to channel readers and viewers. This may be promotional brochure” links. It may also be in the form of videos that explain a host partner’s specific value proposition.
LOGO AND CHANNEL OWNERSHIP
Each sponsor host will also receive considerable branding opportunities on each channel page. It is critical that each partner host “co-own” each channel with Gramercy Institute.
The beauty of this program is that “host partners” may play either an active role in uploading content to each channel or may allow Gramercy Institute to do the heavy content lift. Regardless, partner hosts will share a regular and robust theme specific value content with audiences of senior marketers from major financial firms and agencies on a regularly updated and consistently fresh manner.
DISTRIBUTION OF CHANNEL CONTENT
Each Gramercy Institute Channel will be updated monthly so that content is fresh and relevant. Gramercy Institute will launch each channel with at least six content items germane to the main (horizontal or vertical) theme of each channel. Subsequently, content will be refreshed by Gramercy Institute with newest items on top and older items on the bottom, organized chronologically.
DEDICATED MONTHLY EMAILS
Each month, an email will go out to Gramercy Institute’s global financial marketing community promoting Gramercy constituents to visit each channel by teasing content contained on each.
Gramercy Institute will promote each channel (and host) on EACH email it sends over 12 months. Gramercy Institute guarantees that host logo will appear in connection with its host channel on at least 150 separate emailings. In 2020, Gramercy Institute sent more than 1.4 million individual emails—all to the financial services marketing industry.
