13th ANNUAL GRAMERCY INSTITUTE FINANCIAL MARKETING STRATEGY AWARDS

Gramercy Institute Awards

Financial’s Top 12 Agencies

Top Financial Agencies Honored at Ceremony in New York

NEW YORK CITY (Jan. 29, 2019) For the second year, Gramercy Institute awarded its selection of “Financial’s Top 12 Agencies.”  This group was honored at a half-day forum and award ceremony in New York City on Tuesday, January 29.

This year’s roster included: Copylab, DiMassimo Goldstein, Extractable, Fundamental Media, Imprint, MERGE Boston, MODCo Media, NewsCred, Prosek Partners, Ptarmigan Media, public imaging, Vested and Water & Wall Group.  Technically, thirteen agencies are included in the group, with one serving as an alternate.

“This important award honors the best and brightest financial agencies in the world and serves as a benchmark for agency excellence and expertise to leading financial brands that seek the highest caliber agency services,”  explains Bill Wreaks, CEO & Chief Analyst of The Gramercy Institute.

2019’s honorees were selected through an extensive nomination call and a rigorous review process that assessed numerous data points for each agency. “We received an impressive number of agency nominations—78 to be exact—from the financial marketing industry,” said Wreaks.  “Our nominations were for agencies based in 6 different countries.” Once nominations were in, then began a rigorous evaluation process in which all nominees were asked to submit detailed agency profiles.  From here, a final roster was distilled.

Some statistics about this years roster of "Financial's Top 12 Agencies" include:

• Average Years in Business: 18.1

• All But One Agency Are Independent

• Number of Employees (Full Time Average): 65.5

• Percentage of Financial Biz (Average Billings): 78.7% Financial

• Percentage of Financial Biz (Average # Clients): 74.7% Financial

“This group of agencies is intentionally diverse in the scope of services they each offer,” explains Wreaks.  “Financial marketing today requires many specific and highly-synchronized services. The common denominator that each of these agencies shares is that of proven excellence in financial services marketing.”

Gramercy Institute was guided by the following criteria in the ultimate selection of “Financial’s Top 12 Agencies.”

Selection criteria was based on:

  • An agency’s demonstrated commitment to excellence

  • Case example success for specific financial clients

  • An agency’s focus on and dedication to the financial category

  • An agency’s demonstrated innovation in financial services marketing

  • An agency’s commitment leadership in the  financial services marketing industry

  • Our final roster’s ultimate diversity (agency specialization, structure and geographic center)

This year, The Gramercy Institute honored this elite group of agencies by hosting their teams at an award ceremony and financial marketing forum.  The theme was “2019: The Year Ahead in Financial Marketing.”  The Gramercy Forum & Award Ceremony took place at Thomson Reuters’ 30th Floor Auditorium in New York  City on Tuesday morning January 29, 2019 (8:00AM-1:00 PM).
